My Italian level

Must I have a good level of Italian to join?
No, not necessarily, all our teachers can speak fluently at least 2 foreign languages (usually english and german or french). So even beginners can start learning without any fear or tension. Usually we find that students who benefit the most from our service are of pre-intermediate level or above.
 

My Italian is already quite good – how will the lessons benefit me?
We are specialised in helping you improve your spoken Italian and listening skills. An individual lesson means that it is just you and a teacher and so the lesson will be highly targeted towards meeting your individual needs: the perfect way to practise and improve. You’ll be able to make yourself understood more easily and you will be able to improve your understanding of Italian.

So whether you are learning for business or personal reasons, we’re here to help!

 

Can I use your lessons to practise conversation?
Yes, of course. With our service you are in charge. If you’d like to use us to help you maintain your level of Italian, please do! Just a lesson a week will do it.

 

Will I get a certificate?
Yes, we will send you a certificate signed by your online teacher and by the director of the school, after you have completed a block of 20 lessons with us. And after the next 20, you’ll get another certificate. And so on. And your italian will get better as well!

Getting started…

Can I enrol at any time?
Yes, of course! We enrol new students every day. We’d love to hear from you too. Simply go to the sign up page.

 

I don’t have a credit card. Can I still enrol and pay by other means?
Yes, please contact us and we will suggest you alternative payment methods (bank transfer, postal order etc.)

 

Do I have to have all my lessons together?
No – you can book your lessons when you want.  All we ask is that you complete your block of lessons within 6 months of signing up. Which is easy if you are keen on improving your Italian!

How soon can I book my lessons? How many can I book at once?
You can book your first lesson directly from our on-line form, we will contact you asap (within 1 working day). Once we have contacted you, you can book each lesson individually or as many as you have purchased. You can book a lesson with a teacher every day if you want to, (providing they are available, of course!)

 

When can I start my lessons?
You can start you lessons as soon as you have received your enrolment confirmation and arranged a timetable with us.

 

I need to cancel my booked lesson? What do I do?
Just send us an email to info@learn-italian-online.com at least 8 hours before your lesson begins and we will reschedule your lesson. Unfortunately lessons cancelled within 8 hours are counted and cannot be rescheduled.

 

Can I change my teacher?
Yes, after you have finished your lesson, you can book your next lesson with a different teacher, depending on who is available at the time you want your lesson. However, once you have booked a lesson with a teacher, you can’t change that lesson. You have to cancel that lesson by sending us an email and then rebook with another teacher.

 

How does my free 20 minute trial lesson work?
In our online application form you can opt for a 20 minute trial lesson. This enables you to try our service with no risk. If you enjoy your on-line lesson, you can book your next one. If you decide that our service is not for you...arrivederci!

 

Do you use GMT?
All our lessons are based on the Italian Clock which is GMT +1 (Greenwich Mean Time + 1 hour). To find out what GMT will be in your Country click here,  The lesson will take place at the time you have selected, so please be ready by your computer or by your phone!
